Thank you to Dr. Lynda Jones Mubarak, author of “Carver Park,” for donating a percentage of her book sales to the Community Food Bank. Her book tells the story of a girl who learned to survive in her community with the help of the people in her life.
Dr. Mubarak is a retired teacher who continues to dedicate her life to educating kids. She understands that proper nutrition make a positive impact on a child’s ability and receptiveness to learn.
