Thank you to our community volunteers who came out to serve yesterday on the 32nd observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Our TCU volunteers included the Beta Mu Omega Chapter of AKA (sorority) and the Alpha Phi Omega chapter (fraternity). We also had 50 workers from the Tarrant Churches Together who helped as part of their MLK Day of Service.
As Dr. King stated, “Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
