We are thankful to the students, teachers, and staff from Trinity Valley School who spent several hours serving at the Community Food Bank today. Paul Price, head of the science department, shared: “Every year, we do an annual day of service. We have been to the food bank and Don’t Forget to Feed Me every year since we have started our formal day of service, and this is our 4th year. We also have people with graffiti abatement, we have people going to various nursing homes, to Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth, Inc., and to Susan G. Komen Greater Fort Worth. So, we basically disperse our upper-school body out into the community for this one day on top of the informal community service we do throughout the year. Every one of our students has to complete a community service requirement for graduation, so this is part of that community service requirement.”
